just got an sms from sherly saying her friend is on life support and its goin to be taken out tmr. im still quite shock but Lord  pls do watch over the family.

haven been blogging but im back. haven been drawn for so long and i have become super bad at drawing again. i really need to practice drawing on my own. haha. hmm all my final projects haven been given to us and im really afraid i wont have the time to do the communication comm stuff. hmm. so much things so little time. back to class….

The sun was bright. I alighted from the sky train with my bunch of friends and head towards the beach. When we arrived, we threw everything down and head towards the water and jumped in. we played wildly, occasionally dunking one or two friends into the water. We would push them down and let them float up. At one moment, i pushed two of my friends down but i got the shock of my life when three bodies floated back up. When all five of us saw that, we made our way back onto shore like a speeding bullet.

I look at the paper and wondered how it would feel like to have a paper cut. I, therefore stupidly went to slide the edge of the paper on my finger and it went through smoothly. I felt a slight errie and  tingling feeling. Soon after i saw blood coming out and i quickly went over to the tap to wash it and placed a band aid over it.

week6

I think i screwed up the test =\. I shall tell only the truth and nothing but the truth. i Studied for the test. yes i did and im amazed i studied but yes i think i still screwed up. I think i will also rewrite a better story. My first draft, into the bin it goes.

3 feet apart was a really good short film. I really liked it. It made me think about my life for a bit.

Week5

I was going to just rip Mik’s reflection and then credited it to his blog but i guessed that would probably screw up my grades so im going to do it.

We learn about getting ideas from the Experiences that we have through out our life. I am thinking that most writers does this anyway. i guess a story would be good if it has some sense of reality in it but then again would writing about the experiences i had in a dream be good? i just might turn my dream into a story

show more and tell less..hmmm i think i actually agree with this. i agree that showing would be more captivating and interesting. I have a problem though, how do we show more and tell less? Would “The door cracked open” be an example of showing?

i found the chase scene  quite interesting as well. it did placed me on the edge of the chair that i was sitting on. What i did not really get was why he shot the sky instead of the dude. Does he not know that by shooting up in the sky he could very well kill a person? His not very bright.

haha class was fun as usual.

watching the 3kings was definitely cool. it was super long since i last watched that show. The taxi was also quite cool. i mean who in the world would think that a plain old taxi driver would be a killer? ha.

Anyway when i heard that we were suppose to write the 5 50 word stories, i was a bit stunned. I mean how do you keep stories to just 50 words? anyway i struggled a bit here and there and managed to complete it. yay ! cheers!

like last week, class was interesting and fun. dialogs are actually quite fun heh.  Although we were suppose to do dialogs, we ended up watching short films that did not have much dialogs…doh. But i really enjoyed the shorts films. It was quite “deep”. It actually made me self-reflected on some things ha.

what really made my day during class that day was when the little boy was stroking his grandmothers hand and she died. It was really funny.

ok i know animation class was 2 days ago but yea i can still remember what happened..over all i find the class really interesting. So in class we were suppose to write a short paragraph with the opener : Leonard walks towards the box..

I really liked Zack’s story. It was really cool. Anyway this was what i wrote:

Leonard walks towards the box and bent down. He stared at box for a minute before stretching both hands forward to pick up the dull box. He then continues on his way down the dusty road.Leonard carries on walking slopily until he saw a sharp peak in the horizon. His face lighted up with excitement and he begun dancing with joy. Leonard has finally found the ancient tomb of Karataza. He suddenly froze as he feels a cold chill run down his neck. Leonard then realizes that a long sharp object was placed at his neck.

So ya thats about all i wrote. So whose story am i telling? Well its kind of obvious that this story is about Leonard but because this is only part of a story, you can also say that Leonard is not really the main character of the story. It might be the person who has the knife.

What is the point of the story? I originally  wanted the story to be about this guy who found this box which holds a key to some tomb. But i mean since its 0nly part of an in complete story, you can imagine it to be anything you one it to be.

How can i engage the attention of the audience? This is a little hard but i guess in this type of story the only way to keep the readers attention would be the use of suspense or thrill. Usually when i read Suspense of thrillers, i always sitting right at the edge of my sit and i am usually glued to my sit and the book until i know what happened in the end.

All in all i think i had a really great time and hope to enjoy more of this module.
